This past Tuesday, more PGA Professionals completed the PGA HOPE Instructor Training!
They learned different aspects of military cultural competency and different techniques to teaching golf to Veterans who may have physical or mental disabilities.
Thank you so much to Judy ...Alvarez, PGA for coming out and doing an awesome job training and preparing these professionals to teach this program!
Thank you also to 2 of our PGA HOPE Ambassadors, Michael Slater and Ralph Mayo Jr. who also came out to support and encourage those getting certified!
We can’t wait to welcome in more Veterans and give back to them for what they gave us!🇺🇸

The Connecticut Section PGA is one of 41 sections chartered that together comprise the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA of America). All of the state of Connecticut, with the exception of territory south and west of a line between the cities of Danbury and Bridgeport, and the western half of the state of Massachusetts, except for a small northwestern corner of the state, are the boundaries for the section.
