SUMMARY:9-Hole Development TOUR Sharon Junior Open
DESCRIPTION:The Developmental TOUR will be for players ages 8-12 who are relatively new to the game and would like to begin competing in individual tournaments. These will be 9-hole events held at separate locations and on separate days then our 18-hole and 36-hole events. Caddies and spectators will once again be permitted at these events. Trophies can be won in both divisions. \n-Players can advance to the Players TOUR if they shoot one round of 40 or better for boys and 45 or better for girls \n-Players do not have to advance to the Players TOUR if they do not wish to (it will be a jump in yardage as well as 18-holes) \n-Players will be required to send in PGA Professional Certification form

SUMMARY:Senior Connecticut PGA Championship
DESCRIPTION:FORMAT:\nThe format is a 36-hole stroke play event conducted over two days. Only PGA Members (50 and over) as defined by TR&R are eligible to enter. \nThe Legends Division will play a single 18 hole round on day one. \nREGISTRATION:\nThere are TWO SEPARATE ENTRIES: One to enter the section championship (Registration is conducted by the section office) and the other is to enter the qualifier for the PGA Senior Professional Championship (Registration is conducted by the PGA America National Office). Competitors can choose to enter the section championship\, the national qualifier or both. The champion’s name is engraved on The Raymond Harper Trophy. \nCONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION: \nThe ONE BALL CONDITION will be effect. \nThe PGA of America has adopted the grooves and/or punch mark condition of competition for this tournament. \nThe DEADLINE to register for both the section event and the national qualifier is WEDNESDAY\, JULY 31.
