SUMMARY:Boys Junior Championship Qualifier
DESCRIPTION:This is a qualifying event for the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship that will be held on June 21-22 at Tumble Brook Country Club. Anyone who did not participate in the 2021 Cnnecticut Junior PGA Championship needs to qualify for this year’s event. \nThe fee for the qualifier is $60. If a player qualifies for the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship they will need to register for that event separately. The top 30 and ties will advance to the Championship. \nThis event should be viewed as a Champions TOUR level event due to the quality of competition in the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship.

SUMMARY:9-Hole Rock Ridge Junior Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Developmental TOUR will be for players ages 8-15 as of July 31 who are relatively new to the game and would like to begin competing in individual tournaments. These will be 9-hole events. Caddies and spectators will be permitted at these events. There will be separate teeing areas for players 8-10\, 11-13\, and 14-15 respectively.  Players who wish to graduate to the 18-hole Players TOUR can do so if deemed ready. \nTrophies will be earned by the top finisher in each boy and girl age division. Golf shop credit will also be awarded based on division field size. \nThis is meant to be a learning environment and their will be staff and rules officials on the golf course. Penalties will be enforced and staff will do their best to answer questions and help coach both juniors and parents alike on both rules and tournament conduct.

SUMMARY:Connecticut Junior PGA Championship
DESCRIPTION:-36-hole\, two-day\, Stroke play competition based on the lowest gross score \n-Awards will be given for the champion of the boys & girls division. \n-Player of the Year points are awarded for the Champions TOUR player of the year race \n-There is a boys qualifier for those who did not play in the 2021 Connecticut Junior PGA Championship. This will be played at Twin Hills Country Club in Coventry\, CT on June 5. \n-Boys who participated in the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship last year do not need to qualify and can register for the 2022 Championship \n-The Boys & Girls top two finishers* will earn a spot at the National Junior PGA Championships \n-Lunch and range balls are provided both days \n-There is no cut. All players will play both days.

SUMMARY:Cas Coscina Memorial Junior Open
DESCRIPTION:The Players TOUR is designed for players who are in the play to compete phase\, however these players might not be ready to play from maximum yardages. These players will have had prior tournament experience either from the high school level\, Junior TOUR\, PGA Jr. League or other organized golf. These will be 18-hole contests with the boys playing from approximately 5800-6100 yards and the girls playing from the forward tees. Players will be able to graduate to the Champions TOUR mid season if they outgrow this level. \n\nPlayers do not have to advance if they don’t want to\nPlayers will be required to send in a PGA Professional Certification form
