SUMMARY:9-Hole Old Lyme Junior Open
DESCRIPTION:The Developmental TOUR will be for players ages 8-15 as of July 31 who are relatively new to the game and would like to begin competing in individual tournaments. These will be 9-hole events. Caddies and spectators will be permitted at these events. There will be separate teeing areas for players 8-10\, 11-13\, and 14-15 respectively.  Players who wish to graduate to the 18-hole Players TOUR can do so if deemed ready. \nTrophies will be earned by the top finisher in each boy and girl age division. Golf shop credit will also be awarded based on division field size. \nThis is meant to be a learning environment and their will be staff and rules officials on the golf course. Penalties will be enforced and staff will do their best to answer questions and help coach both juniors and parents alike on both rules and tournament conduct.

SUMMARY:18-Hole Ralph DeNicolo Memorial Junior Open
DESCRIPTION:The Players TOUR is designed for players who are in the play to compete phase\, however these players might not be ready to play from maximum yardages. These players will have had prior tournament experience either from the high school level\, Junior TOUR\, PGA Jr. League or other organized golf. These will be 18-hole contests with the boys playing from approximately 5800-6100 yards and the girls playing from the forward tees. Players will be able to graduate to the Champions TOUR mid season if they outgrow this level. \n\nPlayers do not have to advance if they don’t want to\nPlayers will be required to send in a PGA Professional Certification form

There will be 16 boys and 8 girls selected invited to participate. \n*Any player who earns a spot on the Remy Cup team is not eligible to participate in the Players TOUR Cup \nFormat: Two-person match play with different contests taking place on each of the 9s. \nDinner: Dinner will be included for players and will take place following play.
