DESCRIPTION:The Developmental TOUR will be for players ages 8-15 as of July 31 who are relatively new to the game and would like to begin competing in individual tournaments. These will be 9-hole events. Caddies and spectators will be permitted at these events. There will be separate teeing areas for players 8-10\, 11-13\, and 14-15 respectively.  Players who wish to graduate to the 18-hole Players TOUR can do so if deemed ready. \nTrophies will be earned by the top finisher in each boy and girl age division. Golf shop credit will also be awarded based on division field size. \nThis is meant to be a learning environment and their will be staff and rules officials on the golf course. Penalties will be enforced and staff will do their best to answer questions and help coach both juniors and parents alike on both rules and tournament conduct.

DESCRIPTION:This is a qualifying event for the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship that will be held on June 21-22 at Tumble Brook Country Club. Anyone who did not participate in the 2021 Cnnecticut Junior PGA Championship needs to qualify for this year’s event. \nThe fee for the qualifier is $60. If a player qualifies for the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship they will need to register for that event separately. The top 30 and ties will advance to the Championship. \nThis event should be viewed as a Champions TOUR level event due to the quality of competition in the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship.

SUMMARY:36-Hole Champions TOUR Classic
DESCRIPTION:The Champions TOUR is designed for advanced players looking to play at the collegiate level. Boys will be playing from yardages of 6500-6900 and girls will be playing from 5500-5900 yards. These will all be 36-hole events that will be ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard and AJGA. With the help of some of Connecticut’s college coaches we have established these course set up guidelines with the hopes of attracting both the elite players in the area as well as the college coaches themselves. The Junior Golf Committee will reserve the right to reassign a player to the Players TOUR for further development if they fail to meet set guidelines during the season. Below are the guidelines for this TOUR: \n\nAccess to this TOUR will rely on GHIN Handicap Index’s\, past tournament scores\, and recommendations from your PGA Professional\nBoys should have a GHIN Handicap Index of 10.0 or better (must be able to play yardages 6600-6900)\nGirls should have a GHIN Handicap Index of 18.0 or better (must be able to play yardages 5600-5900)\n\nAll entries receive range ball\, tee gift\, lunch both days and the ability to earn player of the year points and trophies.
