DESCRIPTION:In this 18-hole team competition players can choose their partner and play in a two person best ball format. This means that each two person team will play their own ball\, but only the lowest score will count on each hole. \nRegistrants must be a part of the Players or Champions TOUR. SUMMARY:36-Hole Northeast Junior Swing
DESCRIPTION:New in 2020 is the collaborative Northeast Junior Swing between the Connecticut\, Metropolitan\, and New England PGA Sections. This joint effort will work to cross promote three events\, one in each section\, with the goal of bringing the regions top juniors together. The events will be ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard and be eligible to earn AJGA PBE stars. \nThe sites are still being determined\, but you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar. Once all three sections finalize their date and site the final information will be distributed. \nEach event will be open and players will be able to earn points. The final prize has yet to be determined\, but stay tuned as we hope to have some exciting news to announce this winter. \nPlayers who gain entry will receive range balls\, lunch both days\, and a tee gift. \nSpectators are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:This is an invitation-only competition. Team members must be 18 years of age or young. Team members are selected by their respective PGA Sections based upon their playing performance. DESCRIPTION:The Junior TOUR Championship is designed to be a season ending event for the Champions and Players TOUR. The field size is limited to 60 players. \nA tee gift will be given to all participants and pro shop credit will be available. Player of the year trophies will also be awarded. DESCRIPTION:The Champions TOUR is designed for advanced players looking to play at the collegiate level. Boys will be playing from yardages of 6500-6900 and girls will be playing from 5500-5900 yards. These will all be 36-hole events that will be ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard and AJGA. With the help of some of Connecticuts college coaches we have established these course set up guidelines with the hopes of attracting both the elite players in the area as well as the college coaches themselves. The Junior Golf Committee will reserve the right to reassign a player to the Players TOUR for further development if they fail to meet set guidelines during the season. \n-Access to this TOUR will rely on GHIN Handicap Index’s\, past tournament scores\, and recommendations from your PGA Professional \n-Boys should have a GHIN Handicap Index of 8.0 or better (must be able to play yardages 6500-6900) \n-Girls should have a GHIN Handicap Index of 15.0 or better (must be able to play yardages 5500-5900) \n-The Junior Golf Committee has the right to deny a player entry into an event based on their Handicap Index\, past scores\, or recommendation from their PGA Professional \n-Boys who play on the Champions TOUR and have a round over 100 will be asked to play on the Players TOUR until they can prove themselves ready for the Champions TOUR. DESCRIPTION:The PGA Jr. League Section Championship is part qualifier\, part championship. The first day will be a qualifier using a team aggregate stroke play format. All-Star teams will have tee times on the back nine of the Player Course at Lyman Orchards Golf Club. The team score will consist of the low four team scores. The lowest four teams scores overall will advance to the traditional PGA Jr. League format the following day. All four teams will play in the morning followed by the championship match after lunch. \nParents and spectators are welcome! \n*There are no signup or registration as this is a PGA Jr. League event. All-Star teams are selected by league captains.
