2018 Connecticut Section PGA Fall Meeting

To be held at Lake of Isles

The Connecticut Section PGA will hold its 85th Annual Fall Meeting on Monday, November 19, at Lake of Isles in North Stonington, Conn. Registration is now open. Complete information will be available soon.

Elections will be held at this meeting for two year terms as President, Vice President, and Secretary, as well as two positions for three year terms as Director. In addition, the section will elect a District 1 Director for a two year term to begin in 2020. The following have been officially nominated. Other nominations may be made from the floor at the meeting.

Proposed Resolution to Amend Section Bylaws - The Board of Directors is proposing two resolutions to amend the Section Bylaws. These will be voted on by the membership at the Annual Fall Meeting (Proposed Resolution #1)  (Proposed Resolution #2)

In addition, a resolution to amend the Tournament Rules & Regulations has been proposed. Proposed Resolution #3

 

2018 Spring PGA Membership Meeting

Tuesday, April 10 - Twin Hills Country Club, Longmeadow, MA

The Spring Membership Meeting was held on Tuesday, April 10, at Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow, Mass. #TakeOwnership was the theme of the meeting and for the ongoing year ahead.

PGA of America Senior Director of Diversity and Inclusion Sandy Cross was the keynote speaker and focused on one of the eight pillars of the organization’s strategic plan to help club professionals understand the benefits and to be thought provoking.
