PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is on a mission unlike any other – to change and save Veteran's lives through the power of golf.

The Connecticut Section PGA Golf Foundation’s purpose is to grow the game and positively impact the lives of youth, special needs golfers, military veterans, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA Professionals and the game of golf.

Youth Golf

The Junior Golf Association aims to provide the highest-level golf experience for youth golfers of all skill levels.

The Connecticut Section PGA operates five local qualifiers and one sub-regional qualifier. Players are tested on their skills in Driving, Chipping and Putting.

PGA Jr. League is a fun team based program that provides PGA/LPGA instruction to youth golfers at local facilities. Players wear team jerseys and practice and compete in a scramble format.

Proudly Serving Veterans and Active-Duty Military in Connecticut and Western Mass.

PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) is a six-week adaptive golf program offered to Veterans and Active-Duty Military free of charge with instruction from PGA Professionals. The program is designed to introduce Veterans to the game of golf in an effort to enhance their overall quality of life.

Diverse Programs - Grants

Since the Connecticut Section PGA Golf Foundation's inception, it has supported many youth golf programs and activities. The Foundation will strive to help fund these initiatives and many others including golf programs that serve youth ages 18 and under, people with disabilities, minorities, military veterans and others that serve the golf community at large. Grant Applications are accepted on an annual basis.

About the Connecticut Section, PGA

The Connecticut Section PGA is one of 41 sections chartered that together comprise the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA of America). All of the state of Connecticut, with the exception of territory south and west of a line between the cities of Danbury and Bridgeport, and the western half of the state of Massachusetts, except for a small northwestern corner of the state, are the boundaries for the section.
