The Connecticut Section PGA Golf Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1995. Since its inception, the primary objectives of the Foundation have been the promotion of junior golf, youth development, diversity in golf, and physically challenged golf programs within Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

Annually, over 70 PGA Professionals are the catalysts for fundraising through a variety of activities conducting golf marathons, Pro-Ams, Travelers Championship initiatives, and giving free lessons.

In the past 16 years, the Foundation has awarded nearly
$950,000 to numerous deserving organizations and programs. The foundation also operates and financially underwrites both the Connecticut Section PGA Junior Golf Association and the Junior Golf TOUR, the areas leading player development initiatives.
