The Junior Golf Association Player of the Year (both boy and girl awards) will be determined by adding the junior player performance points accumulated from each of the events listed in the points breakdown chart. The Player of the Year winners will be presented awards by the Connecticut Section PGA.
Player performance points are awarded to JGA members in the Champions and Players TOUR divisions based on overall finish. In the case of ties, player performance points will be totaled then divided by the number of places tied and distributed accordingly. The only exception for this is when there is a tie for first place and a playoff determines a champion. Then the champion will receive the total first place points.
