THREE TIED AT THE TOP IN THE 91st CONNECTICUT PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

Brad Lusenhop, Adam Rainaud, and Chris Tallman all record 1-over par 72s and lead after round one; 12 players within four shots

OLD LYME, Conn. – The final round of the 91st  Connecticut PGA Championship is tomorrow at Black Hall Club and a dozen golf professionals are within four shots of the lead.

Not surprisingly, Black Hall did not yield low scores.

Brad Lusenhop (CC of Waterbury), Adam Rainaud (CC of New Canaan), and Chris Tallman (Orchards GC – South Hadley, Mass.) each shot one-over par 72s and are tied for the lead.

Adam D’Amario (Indian Hill CC) and Geoff Gelderman (H. Smith Richardson GC) are one stroke behind after recording 73s.

The winner will receive $4,500 from the $22,000 tournament prize purse which is sponsored by Club Car, Mohegan Sun, Jack Jolly, and the PGA TOUR. The lowest scoring Connecticut Section PGA of America member earns the exemption into the 2022 Travelers Championship next month.

The final round of the championship gets underway tomorrow at 8:00 AM with the leaders off last.
