Catarina Petrovic and Aidan Stuart Emerge Victorious at the Champions TOUR Classic at Shuttle Meadow Country Club

KENSINGTON, Conn. (August 19, 2020) – In his final event as a Junior TOUR member Aidan Stuart of Madison, Conn., secured his first victory on the Junior TOUR at Shuttle Meadow Country Club finishing the event 2-under par (73-67-140). Stuart trailed Mason Dumas of Monson, Mass. by one stroke entering the final round. Boys Results

With the victory, Stuart also claimed the 2020 Champions TOUR Player of the Year Award. In route to his crown he finished T-3 at the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship, 2^nd at the Northeast Junior Swing, and was a Quarter Finalist in the Connecticut Junior Amateur.

Playing in only her third Champions TOUR event of her young career, Catarina Petrovic of Farmington, Conn. put together her two lowest tournament rounds of the season to shoot 14-over par (82-74-156) and secure a two-stroke victory. Girls Results

Annie Dai of Longmeadow, Mass. finished the event in 11^th place, but was able to secure the Girls Champions TOUR Player of the Year Award. Dai finished T-4 at the Connecticut Junior PGA Championship, 4^th at the Mass Golf Girls Junior Amateur, and 1^st at the Northeast Junior Swing.
