WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (May 14, 2025) –2019 Connecticut Golf Hall of Fame Inductee Kyle Gallo emerged victorious in the 94th playing of the Connecticut PGA Championship, Connecticut’s oldest professional event.
Gallo, whose playing accolades include four Connecticut Open victories, entered the field having yet to break through in his short time as a Connecticut Section PGA Professional. That all changed with a 36-hole total of 2-under 142 and a two-stroke victory.
Gallo earned $4,800 from a $23,650 purse.
Gallo is the Co-Owner of Full Circle Golf and has enjoyed taking his wide array of golfing experiences and translating that into his students. He registered as a PGA Associate in 2023 and is working towards becoming a Class-A PGA member.
Chris Tallman of GREATHORSE came up just short with a 36-hole total of even par 144 and Ian Wivestad of The Club at River Oaks three strokes back in third place with a 36-hole total of one-over 145.
